Specialist Colleges

LSC Funding for Specialist Colleges
Techdis will be making £1,000,000 of LSC capital funds available to Specialist Colleges over the coming year.

Half of the funding will be in grants to improve hardware and software infrastructure and will require an up-to-date ILT strategy. It is envisaged that e-Progress tools such as the Becta Generator will contribute to this process.

Innovation Funding
There will also be a 3rd round of Innovation funding to directly support the production and use of the multi-media based In-folio accessible portfolio for Specialist Colleges and further funds to provide hosting options and technical support for its implementation
