This is the UK's first online library of educational books, which are available for visually impaired students to view in a variety of formats.
The books are uploaded by teachers and then these can be downloaded in formats such as:
The service has around educational 100 titles available to download and The Seeing Ear hope that this will increase as more educational institutions join.
The system hopes to improve by offering additional services such as collaborative editing system to correct any mistakes to uploaded texts as well as an online converter to automatically switch between accessible formats as required.
